Office Manager

Lynn has been employed here at SVVS since 1991 in her current position as Office/Finance Manager. She started working at the practice, which was at the time, Lebanon Veterinary Clinic, at fifteen, while in high school as part of a mentor program. She worked part-time through high school and college as a veterinary assistant, with aspirations of attending Veterinary school in Blacksburg. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science, Animal Science degree, with a minor in Biology in 1989. After taking a year off from school, and managing a Swine Farm in Patrick County, she met her husband Bill, and decided to return home to Russell County and to SVVS.

Lynn lives in the Belfast community with Bill, their son Caleb, and their Louisiana Catahoula Leopard dogs, which she enjoys competing in conformation and working trials, and does occasionally raise a litter of puppies, which is one of her favorite past times. She is also an avid reader and enjoys the occasional trail ride with her family on one of their 5 horses, along with the company of several catahoulas. Bill is a history-buff, and enjoys the hobby of Civil War Reenactments, which Caleb also shares, though not as raptly as his dad. Caleb is a senior at Lebanon High School and should graduate in Spring 2025. Although his past hobbies of team roping and horseback riding has fallen way to motorized vehicles, and he enjoys riding dirt bikes, 4-wheelers and his truck.
