Dr. Michelle Meister joined the staff of  SVVS in 2000.  She and her son, Mark, live in Lebanon, Virginia.  She is a 2000 graduate from the Virginia/Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and she has a special interest in internal medicine.  Prior to going to Veterinary  School, Dr. Michelle worked in the research field at Virginia Tech and was strongly encouraged to continue her research after graduation.  We feel very fortunate that she decided to join us instead.  Doctor Michelle brings a wonderful and caring attitude to all that she does.  Her animal expertise comes naturally from her father who was a well-respected veterinarian in Ohio until his retirement in 1996.
